This policy covers information handled through the Monsoon website and our responses to website enquiries. Monsoon is a project name, not currently a registered company. The project can be contacted about privacy at [email protected].
This policy concerns this website. It does not describe tracking or data processing for future advertising campaigns, which would need separate disclosures and agreements.
1. Information you provide
When you submit the enquiry form, it sends your name, work email, message, selected messenger and any company name or messenger handle you enter. Name, email and a message are required to submit the form; company and messenger handle are optional. You may instead contact us by email.
If you contact us through email, Telegram or WeChat, we receive the messages and contact or profile information you choose to share through that service. Please do not send passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information or personal information about others that you are not authorised to share.
2. How information is used
We use enquiry information to understand your request, reply through the contact details you provide, discuss a potential business relationship and keep relevant correspondence. We may also use necessary information to prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.
Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The website does not use your enquiry to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Where a law requires a legal basis, responding to business enquiries and protecting the website are based on legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Taking steps towards a contract at your request and complying with legal obligations may provide other applicable bases. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent by contacting us.
3. Form delivery and service providers
The form sends its contents to FormSubmit, which processes the submission and delivers it to [email protected]. FormSubmit may also handle technical information for delivery, spam prevention and security. See its privacy information for its own practices.
Website hosting, infrastructure and email providers may process information needed to serve pages, protect the service and store or deliver correspondence. This can include an IP address, browser information, request times and service logs. Access to enquiry information should be limited to people and providers who need it to respond or operate these services.
We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect legal rights and address misuse. The enquiry form is intended for direct business communication, not the sale of contact lists.
4. Cookies and external services
The current landing-page code does not set advertising cookies or include third-party audience analytics or advertising pixels. The charts shown on the page use sample data, not visitor tracking. Fonts are served with the website.
Hosting, security and external form services may use their own technical storage or cookies. Following a Telegram link, contacting us in WeChat or using an external form page is also subject to that service’s privacy practices. Copying our WeChat ID only copies the displayed ID to your clipboard after you press the button.
5. Retention
Enquiry information is kept for as long as needed to respond, manage an ongoing discussion and retain relevant business records. The appropriate period depends on whether the enquiry leads to a relationship, any unresolved issue and applicable record-keeping requirements. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised. Service providers may have separate retention and backup periods.
6. Processing locations and security
Our hosting, form-delivery, email and messaging providers may process information outside your country. Applicable transfer requirements depend on the provider, processing location and law that applies. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
No website, email or messaging service can guarantee absolute security. Please limit your enquiry to the information needed for the initial conversation.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to correct your contact details or stop further correspondence. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access or delete your information, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where it is used.
You may have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may also have a right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before responding. Rights can be subject to exceptions, including requirements to retain certain records.
8. Children and policy updates
This website is intended for business enquiries and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, please contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
We will update this policy when the website’s handling of information changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
